Romantic and intimate hotel in Montmartre
Presentation
Practical information
House of rendezvous or luxurious bachelor pad, gallant and scandalous in Pigalle.
In this former house of pleasures on Rue de Bruxelles, discreetly marked by two red lanterns, decorator Jacques Garcia brings to life a troubling and fascinating era, where emancipated courtesans and passing powerful figures mingled in flamboyant settings. The Pigalle of the Belle Époque is reborn here in all its splendor, combining unabashed sensuality, power plays, and intoxication of the senses.
Inside, each lounge opens like a theater with drawn curtains: antique woodwork, crimson velvet, whispering mirrors, Murano chandeliers, and oriental love seats outline the contours of a secret world. The whole evokes a small palace of hedonism, both whimsical and subdued, where one willingly surrenders to an enveloping atmosphere, between waking dreams and clandestine elegance.
The twenty rooms and suites, spread across four floors, pay tribute to those who reigned over Parisian nights, bearing the names of famous courtesans. La Belle Otero, Liane de Pougy, La Païva, La Castiglione... all inspire a unique universe, featuring precious drapes, exotic patterns, and carefully staged period furniture. Every detail reveals a story, every fabric stirs the imagination.
Far from classic hotel standards, Maison Souquet is experienced as a confidential, almost secret address, where the taste for intimacy, voluptuousness, and discreet refinement is cultivated. The lounge bar, hidden behind a library reminiscent of a cabinet of curiosities, welcomes lovers of signature cocktails, forgotten liqueurs, and conversations suspended in velvet.
The spa, on the other hand, is available by reservation: an entire hour just for you, to swim under a starry deep blue vault, let yourself be enveloped by the warmth of the hammam, or surrender to a treatment. Here, everything is designed to make time stretch and pleasures become rituals.
One comes to Maison Souquet to experience Paris differently, to explore the capital from a haven for aesthetes and enlightened lovers, to savor the thrill of a place unlike any other. Perhaps one comes out of curiosity, but one returns for the taste of intrigue and love of beauty.
So, to whom will you entrust the whispered secrets of alcoves in the dimly lit corridors of Maison Souquet? To a bold play partner, or to that part of yourself that yearns to be surprised?
