Alexandre Chapellier, founder of the Cinabre house, shares an original concept above his boutique in the Cité Bergère, in the 9th arrondissement: two exceptional guest apartments that have become the natural extension of his creative universe.
Alexandre Chapellier is an unapologetic dandy and a passionate aesthete. His ties, bow ties, and scarves, handcrafted in Loir-et-Cher, have captivated figures as diverse as Karl Lagerfeld, Pharrell Williams, or Kamala Harris, as well as President Emmanuel Macron, for whom Cinabre has become the official supplier.
From the boutique to the suite, the same bold elegance is evident, a mix of artisanal precision and French whimsy. Designed in collaboration with the Necchi architecture studio, Les Suites Cinabre were conceived as sanctuaries where craftsmanship, fashion, and design converge.
In Suite No. 1, caramel hues and rosewood furniture evoke a 70s-style living room reimagined with humor. A winter garden under palm trees extends the space, inviting you to enjoy a homemade breakfast or a cocktail prepared at the suede-covered bar. In Suite No. 2, the stunning floral tapestry from the Pierre Frey archives, patiently hand-stretched by upholsterer Clémentine Messié, envelops the walls and ceiling in a vibrant decor. At the center, a bathtub stands like a sculpture, between varnished wood and midnight blue velvet.
Every element reflects rare attention to detail. Hästens bedding, handmade in Sweden, ensures an enveloping rest. Delorme sheets, bearing the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, offer the softness of the finest French cotton velvets. Notebooks from Maison Duvinage, a historic Parisian print shop founded in 1868, sit on polished wooden desks, ready to capture inspired words.
