An alternative luxury: an immersion in nature and 5-star service.

Created by a Swiss woman, Sofia de Meyer, whose initial idea was "to offer a haven of peace and beauty to those seeking to rest their tired bodies and stressed minds," these geodesic domes, a sort of tent in the shape of igloos, are now installed in the charming Valais village of Les Cerniers, at 1400m altitude.
Like snowballs placed on the mountain, the "whitepod" camp blends into the landscape. And it must be earned, as you will reach it after a few minutes of hiking, snowshoes on your feet in winter if weather conditions require it.

Each of the pods is installed on a wooden platform serving both as a base and as a terrace to dive into the breathtaking view of the Rhône Valley, Lake Geneva, and the Alps. Or onto the sea of fog, an equally splendid spectacle! Your 40m2 cocoon is furnished with a double bed worthy of the best hotels, a wood stove lit for you until 9 pm, objects sourced locally, warm and cozy materials, and a private bathroom.

For an even more exclusive experience, four Pod-Suites have been offering their unique worlds since 2017: the Swiss Pod Suite for a 100% Swiss atmosphere, the very natural Forest Pod Suite, and the futuristic 007 Pod Suite are located at the top of the domain and all three feature a private sauna inside the pod as well as a self-service bar (champagne, wine, vermouth, génépi, beer...) echoing the unique vibe of the suite. A 2018 novelty, the Zen Pod Suite welcomes guests in a Japanese-inspired ambiance with an authentic Japanese furo bath and a tea fountain for a journey in search of chic zenitude.

A mayen, one of these typical regional chalets that used to shelter shepherds during the alpine grazing season, is now the "pod-house"; it houses the breakfast area, wellness space, bar, as well as the high-tech conference room convertible into a cinema room if the mood strikes you. A restaurant, Les Cerniers, offers traditional, refined cuisine and also hosts the reception.

A mountain of absolute tranquility, unspoiled nature, top-notch service, design -not too much!-, a private ski area open upon simple request. In this setting, everything is designed to relax you: dog-sledding, snowshoe walks, snowscoots and sledding, cross-country skiing, hikes for all levels, and spa treatments, or a simple spiritual retreat in the comfort of your "whitepod"?

The summer season -launched in 2013- offers you 25 km of marked trails, guided thematic hikes, a mountain bike course, e-bikes, tandem paragliding, dog karting (dog team pulling a summer sled), and cani-hiking. The spa and massages will rest bodies and minds at the end of the day.

Far from the lavish resorts, you might be charmed by the luxury-ecology-comfort concept of the location. The ecological commitments reflect a real concern for respecting the environment and contribute to making your stay both beautiful and unique.

✦ Family Pods (40m2) with a double bed that can be complemented by two extra beds on the mezzanine (ages 6-18). Baby cot available on request for children under 3 years old.
✦ Deluxe Pods (40m2) with a large king-size double bed and the option to accommodate one additional person on the mezzanine (adult or child aged 6 and above, free of charge). Additional perks include breakfast delivered to your pod, Wi-Fi connection, satellite TV, Nespresso coffee, and a mini-bar (soft drinks) at your disposal, along with the possibility of having a massage in your pod.
