Immersion between nature and luxury in Occitania
Since 2021, the lodges of Souki Lodges & Spa invite you to enjoy a retreat on the edge of the village of Cabrières. In these luminous landscapes of Hérault, Fabien Morcel and Gilles Pascal have designed two contemporary havens immersed in nature. Designed for two people, they embody the art of escape, combining clean lines, endless views, and a serene atmosphere.
Reaching your lodge via a path lined with century-old oaks, you discover an architecture that seems to have grown with the landscape. L’Arbre Perché and Le Nuage are elevated on stilts, facing south to capture sunlight from morning to evening. Each structure harmonizes with the terrain without overpowering it, allowing nature to flow in through large glass windows that open onto vineyards and surrounding hills.
The interior of each lodge reveals a harmonious balance between contemporary design and sensory softness. You’ll find a king-size bed set on a mezzanine, a spacious bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and rain shower, as well as a living room bathed in light. Natural tones and designer furniture complement the blonde wood walls and the outdoor silence.
Subtle comfort is present in every detail: a connected speaker, a bean-to-cup coffee machine, a private Nordic bath, and meticulous room service. Wi-Fi access is available but never intrusive, and here silence takes center stage. You are invited to slow down, listen, and feel.
Outside, the expansive terraces of the lodges open onto the valley, offering a 180° view. Here, you can share a breakfast made with local products or enjoy a refined dinner prepared by your hosts or a guest chef, accompanied by regional wines. As evening falls, gaze at the starlit sky and extend these moments in the private pool equipped with massage jets, bubble bench, counter-current swimming, and heated to 32 °C year-round. Beneath a often-clear sky, the water becomes a mirror of the heavens.
At Souki Lodges & Spa, the experience unfolds in the moments. An outdoor massage under the trees, a sunrise yoga session, an e-bike ride through the vineyards, or a picnic basket to savor by Lake Salagou or in a forgotten valley, all shape your days according to your desires.
The Cirque de Mourèze with its strange white rocks, Pézenas with its lively streets, and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, are also treasures of this Occitan region. In fact, the lodges are named Souki in reference to 'souquious,' the Occitan word for vine stump.
By staying at Souki Lodges & Spa, you’re choosing more than just a unique accommodation. The intimacy of the place, the delicate attentiveness of the hosts, and the serenity of the setting also appeal to those looking to celebrate a special moment together. You’ll leave with memories of a tranquil morning, a dinner at dusk, or a warm bath under the stars.
